REPAIRS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The repair price quoted by our system is an estimate only, based on the information you have provided to us. It is possible that die price to repair the unit is higher than the estimated price (for example, if the information provided was inaccurate, or if your unit has other faults). On these occasions you will be contacted via email or phone to authorize a new repair quotation.
Repairs usually take up to seven working days from the date they arrive at our repair centre, during busier times repairs can
take longer to be processed. If you do require the unit back quickly then we strongly recommend you inform us before the
repair is booked in.
Our repairs cover a limited one month warranty except the following:
Liquid damage repair-2 Week warranty
Console main board repairs – 30 day warranty
In the unlikely event your unit becomes faulty within the warranty period please send the unit back with a copy of the receipt or Ref No. and a covering letter stating current fault (we are not liable for your costs to return the unit to us). We will investigate and respond within 3 working days. If the problem is related to the initial repair, we will carry out a further repair free of charge and return at no cost. If the unit has further problems not related to original repair or parts not replaced in previous repair we will contact you and let you make a decision with regards to the cost. We will attempt a re-repair on your unit TWICE after the initial repair. If after this, the unit is still faulty we will issue a refund (minus the minimum charge and postage fee). We will need to see the unit and make sure its faulty prior to issuing a refund.
Units will be held for a maximum of 60 days after they are either repaired, deemed BER or requiring a re-quote. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you by phone and email a minimum of 3 times. If you have not made payment within 60 days, the unit will be auctioned / sold to recover our costs.
Liquid Damage Repairs
Liquid damage repairs can be very temperamental and are carried out on a “best endeavors” basis. On occasions the original fault can reappear after the unit has been repaired and sometimes the faults can even get worse after a period of time.
Accessories, Games, Power Supplies
Please do not send any accessories (or Console games/disks) in with your repairs unless we have specifically requested them (e.g. for a power problem we may request the charger or power supply). We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to accessories whilst in our possession (SIM cards, memory cards, chargers, boxes, cases, cables, mounts etc). On occasions we may ask for certain accessories to be sent in after our initial diagnosis for further testing as they may be related to the fault.
User data / information
we will do our up most to retain any data on your unit, however we cannot be held responsible for lost data, including; Ringtones, Photos & videos, Contacts, Saved game data (for Consoles), Favorites locations (for Sat Navs), Music (e.g. MP3)
Payments are requested once a repair has either been completed successfully or if the unit has been deemed BER or you refuse a re-quote.
Mistakes in bills, receipts or payments
Whilst we Endeavour to ensure accuracy in all that we do, occasionally mistakes do happen. We will correct any mistakes in bills, receipts or payments as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days of agreeing to do so.
We have many satisfied customers, and our complaint resolution system helps us to ensure that our customers are satisfied, even when things go wrong.
If you have a complaint, please contact us either by email or by letter. Upon receipt of your complaint, we will investigate to see what went wrong so that we can resolve it to your satisfaction, and to avoid re-occurrence in the future.
We undertake to acknowledge complaints your complaints within 5 working days, advise you how long it will take to resolve the complaint & keep you informed throughout the process.
WEB SITE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Domain name (e.g www.Acetec.co) will be subject to availability. We can order the Domain for you through one of our trusted links and the costs may vary from one extension to another. The domain purchased by Acetec LTD. will need renewal after 1 year. If you would like to cancel subscription with us, we will need 35 days notice in advance of the renewal date. If this is not done with this time we will proceed and purchase 1 year and continue with subscription. Late payments after the date of renewal will result in a £10.00 penalty.
Hosting for the first year costs £30.00 and Acetec will then inform you 55 days before the date of renewal that it is due. We will charge the same amount if you wish to continue using Acetec to host your website. If you do not contact us within the last 35 days before renewal, we will continue with the subscription services and charge you accordingly. Late payments after the date of renewal will result in a £10.00 penalty.
Acetec will provide support for the first month with your services for free. This will ensure that you are familiar with the web services that we provide with your website. Any changes made after the first two months will be charged accordingly.
CHANGES AND UPDATES
Any work that has been uploaded after the first two months on the website will be temporary for 1 week and will then become permanent. Any updates for the website will be charged additionally. A standard fee will apply plus a service fee.
In the design stage of the web site, the skeleton structure will be designed according to you. When the designed structure has been confirmed for viewing; a period of 1 week will be given to make necessary changes. If any changes need to be made, a minimal fee will be charged as an extra service.
AceTec will ask if you need maintenance for your web services and will be charged accordingly. Facebook, Twitter and YouTube can be maintained by the client and any support for the first two months is free and will be charged accordingly thereafter.
Google vouchers will be used for search engine optimization for advertising purposes. The specified amount will be used according to the price set by Google Adwords and Adsense.
Facebook advertising vouchers is used to direct traffic to your website from other Facebook personal and business accounts. The specified amount will be used according to the price set by the target audience, geographical, age groups and type of business.
Any pictures provided by the client must comply with copyright law and must not break any infringement laws. AceTec Does not take any responsibility of any content given by the client.
AceTec will provide your site with online payments if necessary but do not take responsibility in any transactions between accounts and will not account for any products sold.
A deposit of 50% will be paid to AceTec Ltd. after the structure is confirmed and completed. After the content is uploaded to the site another 50% will be paid for completion to AceTec ltd. Late payment are considered of 1 week or 7 days beyond the date of renewal.
Any Consulting provided by AceTec will be free.
